Default Veterans, what keeps you playing GW?

Veterans, what keeps you playing Guild Wars?

For me its probably three things:
1. Playing with real people (I really do not like micro managing heros and enjoy the variety and learning that can happen with real people)
2. Challenging areas (meaningful success)
3. Game relevant rewards (game bounty or important skill augments)

Trying new farming builds.

Playing with old friends that I have played with for 3+ years.

Good, organized, balanced teams in HM and Elite Areas.

I still find lots to do in this game that I haven't done yet, despite playing so much for so long. I still really like the game, and find it is really nice to be able to play either for 15 minutes (to cap an elite or so) or 5+ hours :-)

absolute boredom between the time I have classes and the time I'm either with my girl or at a party. If it wasn't for those stretches of time where I have nothing to do I wouldn't play lol. That and I'm broke so I have to play something I don't have to keep paying for and WoW was too damn addictive.

Well, the only reason I still play, frankly, is because I am waiting for some other games to come out. There's one out in October, so it's not gonna be long anymore. Just helping a few people left and right...done getting titles and all that. Just 4 weeks to kill and then it's bye bye GW.

Change some skills for Squig Herder so he can compare to Bright Wizard as RDPS class.

Oh, wait, wrong game. Then I guess nothing keeps me playing the dead game.

Socializing.

If I hadn't friends on Guild Wars, I would have quitted it long, long ago...

When I'm not working, going out, doing chores around the house, etc., GW is my relax time. Just working on a few titles here and there, and buying armors.

I'm too poor to buy a console and those expensive games they run.

I'm pacing myself, Its a game not a race.

Only just finished prophesies with one character though I finished Factions ages ago
Nightfall still only part done and Eye of the North is almost finished.

Got a few titles mostly by accident
Have lots of HOM scrolls haven't used any as yet.

Been away from GW and returned 4 times so far plenty of other games to play, intend giving Spore a try soon and then look around for something to take me through to GW2 release.

If really really desperate will try pvp but I would hope a good friend would talk me out of it before I sank that low.

for me it's 4 things:
1. make a pve character and buy all kinds of sweet armor and weapon skins.
2. take him to pvp and own all the pvp characters with crappy skins.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!!!

Chatting with my guild and friends. Also, I am on the lookout for bouts of pure stupidity that are getting extremely common in Guild Wars...
